Organizations are constantly expecting (and increasingly more from) the Internal Audit function to provide business-critical assessment and recommendations by being insightful, forward looking and provide advisory services that can create sustained value on all fronts of the organization.
» How do we keep up to such expectation?
» What is our approach to align our focus with the business?
» How to train our internal auditors to think beyond governance, risk and control compliance?
» How to identify critical risks & business best practices that are needed to drive growth and sustainability?
Possessing the conservative ‘auditing mindset’ is doomed for failure, therefore, a new breed of Assurance professionals with keen eyes and focus on Business and GRC combined is needed.
Critical Thinking ability and skills is key to bring about the much needed change in the way how Assurance deliver their services to the stakeholders in the organization. Thus, Critical Thinking has been recognized as one of the 10 core competencies for the audit profession by the IIA Inc.
